Visit Minchinhampton Gloucestershire and the surrounding villages and stay in B&B, hotel or holiday cottage accommodation provided by BedPosts members.
Minchinhampton was one of the most important cloth towns of south Gloucestershire by the 18th century.
The church deserves a visit. It dates back to the 12th century and houses a particularly fine set of brasses, while the 14th-century south transept contains a stately array of tombs and effigies.
There is a 17th-century Market House balanced on stone pillars.
The 600-acre common is owned by the National Trust.
