The Old Store Guest House Bed & Breakfast
Built in 1795, the Old Store offers luxury bed and breakfast in this delightful part of West Sussex, close to Chichester and the South Downs.
Our breakfast menu features local and home made ingredients, including bread made from flour milled at the Weald and Downland Museum, jams made from our own  fruit, home made marmalade, sausages from Emsworth and locally produced apple juice. As well as the traditional English breakfast we offer muffins topped with scrambled eggs (local free range, organic) and smoked salmon, and American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup.
Our rooms are all well decorated and furnished with modern en-suite shower rooms. We have a range of double, twin, family and single rooms, and a twin room on the ground floor with a shower room that is fitted with handles and a shower seat, for guests who have limited mobility (although not for those who rely on wheelchairs, as the room has a step between the bedroom and the shower room).
Parking is available in our walled car park, and we have a large garden. Wifi is available in most of our bedrooms, and in our guests lounge.
Across the road, the Anglesey Arms serves excellent food, wine and beer. There is also a wide selection of country pubs nearby, and Chichester offers a variety of good restaurants.
The Old Store is situated at the edge of the South Downs National Park, with lovely walks and cycle routes nearby. Beautiful Chichester Harbour and the coast are also nearby, and the area has a wide choice of excellent visitor attractions to visit.
The Old Store is recommended by The Good Hotel Guide and by Britain's Finest.Â
